SciNote is an Open Source software, which has been developed in Ruby on Rails. It also makes use of Docker technology, so the easiest way to run it is inside Docker containers. Software license: Mozilla Public License version 2.0 (Free and Open Source license)
Why open source?
We decided to develop SciNote as an open source ELN software, so anyone can build upon the source code, develop new Add-ons and upgrade SciNote to best fit their needs.
You have the voice
We want to create a broad scientific community of SciNote users who will have the power to implement their ideas and by developing new Add-ons, transform it into the best scientific platform there is.
Flexibility and interoperability
Modularity and open source nature give SciNote flexibility which enables us to integrate it with other (open source) software solutions as well.
