Business Analyst

SciNote LLC is looking for a Business Analyst to join an international team of scientists, software developers and creative business thinkers. This is a full-time position based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
You will be part of the Operations team and provide crucial insight into our business performance, while introducing solutions for optimization and automation of key processes.

Business Analyst – Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor company-wide key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Oversee the company data architecture
- Prepare detailed analyses and reports for various stakeholders
- Prepare and manage easy-to-use, scalable and effective dashboards
- Implement data-driven process improvements and automation
- Establish data models for revenue forecasting
- Suggest pricing and business model changes based on data insights
- Suggest data-driven product and organization improvements
- Identify and resolve various business issues
- Implement business intelligence tools and practices
- Oversee CRM usage by other departments
- Collaborate with other departments based on their needs
Required experiences and skills:
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience with managing CRM tools
- Expert-level analytical skills
- Superior excel proficiency
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge in any language for the needs of extracting and modelling the data
- Basic knowledge of relational and document databases with ability to write simple queries
- Workflow automation and optimization
- Ability to communicate complex matters in a simple way
- Great presentation and reporting skills
- Efficiency, good time management and prioritization
- Decision-making ability
- Entrepreneurial & problem-solving mindset
- Collaboration skills for working with different departments
- Technical diligence and attention to detail
- Ability to combine big-picture thinking with detailed analyses
- Familiarity with SaaS business model
