Matjaž Hren is the Vice President of Product Management for SciNote. He started as a researcher with a PhD in Biotechnology (University of Ljubljana), working on projects in both basic and applied science. His career eventually took a turn towards entrepreneurship by co-founding BioSistemika, a life sciences software development company, where he developed SciNote Electronic Lab Notebook, which was later spun out as an independent company. Now, Matjaz leads the Product Development team, advancing SciNote as a digitalization solution for the lab of the future.
A scientist by training, Alan has more than a decade of R&D experience across multiple areas, including pre-clinical drug development, bioinformatics, oncology, and biomedical engineering. At Ganymede, he drives the development of the commercial teams, and currently heads marketing efforts. Previously, he led numerous collaborations across 10+ world-class research institutions and medical centers. Co-founded the Center for Epigenetics Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as well as Nucleate NYC. Ginger has over 20 years of experience in the lab automation industry, starting as customer service, field service, field applications with CyBio back in 1999 then moving into sales for BioTek Instruments in 2001. She then moved into Agilent Technologies and the Automation Division where she focused on custom automation systems before heading to HighRes Biosolutions then Transcriptic (now Strateos), she then headed back to Agilent and was instrumental in the integration of BioTek into Agilent before taking on the role of Robot Princess at Artificial, the digital lab software provider. Ginger’s love of automation and automation software earned her the nickname “robot princess” back in her early Agilent days and it became an official title when she joined Artificial. She gets very excited about helping laboratories automate and digitize their labs for efficiency and effectiveness in solving the complex problems that exist in the lab. She’s not only passionate about lab automation though, Ginger is an avid mentor and enjoys helping people in their career journeys.
