Why should I use SciNote if I already use a digital notebook like OneNote and Evernote?

SciNote is specifically designed for lab use, with a unique project/experiment/task structure that can help you plan and manage your research protocols, notes, and data. It offers access control, activity tracking, collaboration tools, and has other lab management and inventory management features that are not available in digital notebooks such as OneNote and Evernote.

Can I import my inventories into SciNote? What if I use Quartzy to manage my inventory?

You can import your inventory spreadsheets into SciNote’s inventory management system. You can also import your inventories from another inventory management platform, as long as the platform allows you to export your existing data in the .csv format. Lastly, you can sync between inventory databases and create automatic uploads into SciNote’s inventory management system using SciNote API. Learn more about how you can import inventories.

SciNote will be rolling out its Quartzy integration in 2024.

SciNote is currently in the FedRAMP Authorization process as a part of our commitment to customer needs and the trust they place in our product. The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) is a United States federal government-wide compliance program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. It provides a standardized approach to security authorizations for Cloud Service Offerings.

Our security standards align with and go beyond the requirements of many security certifications. Upon request, we will provide supporting documents to demonstrate our information security management system (ISMS), as defined by ISO/IEC 27001.

There is no additional cost for onboarding and training.

We will work closely with you to set up your account, provide onboarding and training, and review your plan to ensure SciNote is helping you achieve your business goals.

We provide training materials on YouTube and through our web knowledge base and SciNote courses; you can use these materials to train additional lab members. We also maintain a LinkedIn SciNote community where users can ask questions and exchange tips to learn from each other.
